When film is received, reels are logged into our asset management database. Our technicians inspect material for shrinkage, tears, damaged perfs, weak joins, brittle film, mould, vinegar syndrome and any other film damage or deterioration. If required, repairs are carried out, leader and tail are added. Once repairs are complete, film is cleaned with professional care to remove any surface dirt. These measures are taken to ensure your film will safely run through our equipment and we get the best results in the scanning stage.
